BELGRADE -- Polson got off to a good start Thursday afternoon in its bid for a fourth consecutive State A softball championship, but the teams from the Eastern A went 1-3 on opening day.

2. 2013 Spring Mack Days finishes another successful event

POLSON — 2013 Spring Mack Days ended on May 19 with a total of 28,321 lake trout entries. Winning top angler Jason Mahlen of Kalispell turned in a new record of 1,635 lake trout entries with a 65.8 18 day average. Jason also added a win in the smallest lake trout category with a 160mm entry.
